History

A & P Helicopters was incorporated in 1988 by Fred and Willa Young. Fred had one helicopter, a Hughes 500. From Law Enforcement to Utility companies, his skill and effort was used to incorporate the helicopter as an effective tool to help make work more efficient and safe. He helped law enforcement all the way to utility companies. Craig and Vickie Compton have had a working relationship with Fred for 10 plus years.

About 6 years ago, Craig and Vickie had the opportunity to take over A & P Helicopters. Since 2005, the fleet has increased in size. The current fleet includes two MD 500D's, a Bell 206 Jet Ranger, and two UH-1H Hueys.
